Long Beach Firefighters Honored
On Tuesday, March 6th, 2018, the Long Beach City Council honored members of the Long Beach Fire Department, listed below, in recognition of their actions on the morning of Thursday, February 15th, 2018 participating in the rescue of Gaetano Antonacci, a motorist trapped in his overturned car as a result of an accident, by cutting open his front windshield in about 14 minutes, whereby after being extricated from the vehicle, he was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in stable condition, with no serious injuries.
