Passing of Ex-Chief William Sarro
It is with deep regret the Freeport Fire Department announces the passing of Ex-Chief William "Froggy" Sarro.
Chief Sarro was a lifelong member of Vigilant Hose Company 2 and Chief of the Freeport fire department from 1980 - 1981.
He passed away at the age of 84.
